Es waren die phantastischen, skulpturalen Gebäude der Nachkriegszeit in Osteuropa, die mein Interesse auf die gebaute Zukunftsgläubigkeit in rohem Beton zogen. Von da aus startete der Entdeckungsprozess moderner Architektur mit dem Schwerpunkt 50er bis 70er Jahre.

The phantastic sculptural buildings of the post-war era in Eastern Europe first attracted my interest for the concrete-built belief in the future. From that starting point I’ve been discovering modern architecture with a focus on the 50s up to the 70s.

Roman inspired Forum conceived for the city of Castrop-Rauxel by Arne Jacobsen und Otto Weitling in the late 60s, inaugurated 1976.
